united_states_passportIf you plan to travel for only 14 days, then take what you will needs for 14 days only. Do not make others people think that you want to move because of  number of items that you try to carry. But in fact, I often see people carrying more than one suitcase size bag for a vacation that for a few days only. With a large amount of goods that you take, this will limited your own space. In every chance you will always look for the goods while you are always be thinking, “Are there any items left behind or not?” In the end, because you so dizzy looking for some things in your suitcase, you chafe and forget the reason why you do this trip.

In addition, with so many items that you take, you can be a target for criminals. ”If you want to travel, travel light,” so said that I always remember. When entering the goods into your bag, take only the things that most essential such as:

1. Light and simpe backpack.

2. Money belt, a wallet that you can covered on the waist and with trousers or a dress you wearing. Because of the thin and lengthwise, the money belt will not be visible from the outside when worn over your clothes. To get money belt, you can browse the shops that sell the purpose of traveling luggage.  The money belt is  useful to store your valuables out of criminals. Valuable items such as passport, tickets, credit card / ATM card, travel insurance policy, cash or traveler’s checks, you can save here.

Some suggestions: make some copies from original documents such as passport (especially on the front the images and print your data and also state the purpose of visa pages), tickets, credit card / ATM card, record the serial number checks and traveler’s insurance policy number and their emergency phone number before starting the journey, so if whenever you need to fill out a form that requires immigration data from the passport, no need to bring out the original documents. Keep copy of the document separately, one set in a place that is easy to reach you at any time when needed, and one set to leave again at home on people who you can trust and can be contacted at any time if needed, in which when the original document or copy that you have brought lost at all, then you still have a copy of the document again to make further action. You can also scan documents and save them on your e-mail so that when needed you can get a copy of all documents by opening the e-mail.

3. Apparel, prepare a set of clothing from socks, pants, underwear, long sleeve shirt (to handle cold) and T-Shirt.

4. Personal Things, if you need, prepare your own contact lenses, eye drops, soaked fluid, or glasses. Prepare also a comb, sunglasses, toothbrushes and toothpaste, sanitary napkin, razor. If you plan to stay in the hostel, bath soap, shampoo (preferably in a small package or sachet) and a towel, you need to take.

5. Travel guide,  if you do not join the package tour, the travel guide is something that was absolutely necessary. But when you feel the book is too heavy to carry, then you can copy the section you need and leave the original at home. Or, if your trip only takes a few days only, find information about your destination on the internet, then print on paper. Most importantly, the information you get from good guide and travel information from the internet to be the most current alias up-to-date, especially on the price and the address and phone where lodging, food prices and also the cost of transportation.

This is still only some parts of the packing tips you can apply while traveling. I while gather the rest in my next write.
